Sea Delight, LLC.

Distributor, Importer, Processor
FL, United States

Sea Delight, LLC was founded in 2006 by Eugenio and Margarita Sanchez, the owners of ADS Seafood, LLC, as an initiative that sought to target the market of high quality frozen and fresh seafood products.

The team at Sea Delight is committed to sustainable fishing practices and has partnered with Ocean Wise and FishWise to help improve the sustainability of their seafood supply. Sea Delight also works with their suppliers to help them partner with these groups and to have them join the Trace Register, a web-based traceability program. The team supports fishery stakeholders as they work toward the goal of Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification as well. Sea Delight has also demonstrated their commitment to sustainability through their comprehensive sustainable seafood policy, which can be viewed on their website.

Sea Delight’s commitment to sustainable seafood goes well beyond their own practices. Sea Delight was the first company to officially join World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) Seafood Savers program. Seafood Savers is an Indonesia-based corporate engagement program that supports Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs) in Indonesia. In close partnership with WWF, Sea Delight is engaged in improvement projects for wild-caught yellowfin tuna from the Java Sea, and wild-caught snapper and grouper from central Sulawesi.

In 2012 Sea Delight launched the Sea Delight Ocean Fund, a 501 (c)(3), which supports FIPs throughout the world and promotes awareness for responsible fishing practices. The Ocean Fund works firsthand with the public to educate them on the importance of FIPs and the protection of marine resources everywhere.

Superior products, excellent customer service, and a commitment to responsible business practices have grown Sea Delight, LLC, and its sister companies into market leaders and international conservation specialists in the seafood industry.
